Christine Barnes
Licensed Conveyancer – Proprietor
Christine has over 40 years of experience in conveyancing, working in both legal and conveyancing firms. She was admitted as a Justice of the Peace in 1984 and has been self-employed since March 1989.
Christine has served as both Secretary and Vice President of the Association of Property Conveyancers Limited. She played a key role in presenting the draft Conveyancers Licensing Bill to Parliament, which ultimately led to the passage of the Conveyancers Licensing Act of 1992.
Additionally, Christine was one of the first licensed conveyancers to serve as a member of the Legal Services Tribunal.
She has been a member of the Penrith District Chamber of Commerce and Industry and is currently a member of the Australian Institute of Conveyancers.
