Pre-Purchase Inspections

As part of our conveyancing services, Classic Conveyancing Company can organise on your behalf a range of inspections.

They include:

  1. Pest and Building Reports,
  2. Strata Records Reports,
  3. Swimming Pool Compliance,
  4. Swimming Pool Registration,
  5. Land Tax Clearance, and
  6. Foreign Investment Capital Gains Withholding Clearance.

NSW law dictates that any consultant carrying out any of these pre-purchase inspections must be licensed under the provision of the Home Building ACT 1989.

Regardless of whether you arrange a consultant yourself, or have Classic Conveyancing Company do it for you, it is always advisable to carry out a licence check of your own. This can be done online via the Office of Fair Trading’s website.
